Since 2003, Nu Attitude LLC's Mission rested in providing support during transition as a customized, motivating and knowledgeable resource. Our vision is to help others on a personal level to transition by healing emotionally, teaching life skills and resurrecting confident and marketable individuals.
Shauna James-Hooker earned an Advanced Honors Diploma from Varina High School, B.S. in Psychology and Minored in Substance Abuse and Religious Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University and graduated in May 2013 with her Masters in Arts in Management and Leadership. She has taken concentrations in French, American Sign Language and Individual/Group counseling. Focusing on medical models for clinical treatment in mental health, she has studied advanced nursing in particular to operations management and organizational behavior. She specialized in program development and seamless corporate compliance.
In 2003, Nu Attitude was licensed and birthed! Nu Attitude, LLC offers Business Consulting, Personal (Life) Coaching, Executive Coaching, Career Counseling and Leadership raining and Development. Nu Attitude continues to devote immeasurable time
and services to assisting youth and individuals in transitional periods with individualized coaching. Nu Attitude sponsors the Nonprofit Programs called Great Minds, Dwelling Place and Brighter Day which are custom programs that provide mentoring, life coaching and resources to females and women/families in the transition of separation and divorce and exoffenders. Nu Attitude, LLC has self publicized literature and continues to generate eye opening publications to be released in the future.
Not only is Shauna a CPR Instructor, Notary Public and Licensed and Ordained Minister, but she produces a weekly radio broadcast called a “Nu You” and has hosted televised broadcasts that empower and equips participants to Think Big and to restructure their thinking to guide them through life’s transitions.
Her personal mission statement drives her to not be the “biggest, but be the best”.
